The Rhine Rebels – Roller Derby Club
The Rhine Rebels Basel are a dedicated roller derby team that has been enriching the sports scene in Basel since 2014. As a self-organized community of skating enthusiasts, they place great importance on diversity, inclusion, and team spirit.
Founded in May 2014 as the "Basel Derbygirl Collective," the Rhine Rebels have grown into one of the leading flat-track roller derby teams in Switzerland.
With around 25 active members, they welcome skaters of all genders, ages, and skill levels. The club independently organizes training, coaching, and management, and embodies the DIY spirit of roller derby.
