Freestyle Slalom Inline Skates

Inline Freestyle Slalom Skates

In inline freestyle slalom skating, how agile and responsive a skate is and how direct its power transfer is are crucial for executing tricks precisely.

For this reason, freestyle inline skates are generally built slightly stiffer than, for example, fitness inline skates or are offered directly as hardboot models.

To achieve maximum agility and maneuverability for spins and tricks, the so-called rockering is an indispensable element in inline slalom skating (at least for advanced skaters). Therefore, freestyle slalom inline skates are often equipped with special, rockering frames that make it possible to position individual wheels higher. This creates a shortened wheel stance or wheelbase, which guarantees the highest level of mobility and maneuverability.

Children's Slalom Skates

Inline Freestyle Slalom Skates for Kids and Growing Feet

Our range of inline freestyle slalom skates opens up the world of cones, markers and tricks to even the youngest skaters.

Children pick up new movements particularly quickly and are incredibly proud when they master their first slalom lines and nail their freestyle moves—and rightly so. This builds their confidence, not only on skates but also in everyday life.

With our size-adjustable freestyle slalom inline skates, children and young people can really get off to a flying start and use them for several seasons.

Success and fun in slalom skating

Cones, cones and accessories for freestyle slalom skating

Cones are absolutely essential for freestyle slalom skating. For basic training, a set of 20 cones is sufficient.

However, if you take inline freestyle slalom skating seriously and want to improve, we recommend a set of 54 cones. This is because there are three rows of cones in freestyle slalom skating:

  • A row of 20 cones, each spaced 50 cm apart.
  • A row of 20 cones, each spaced 80 cm apart (main row).
  • A row of 14 cones, each spaced 120 cm apart.

You can find more details about this in our blog post on the Freestyle Slalom Skating Rules.

Backpacks and Bags

Special Skater Backpacks and Bags

With our specially designed backpacks for inline skates and freestyle slalom skates, you too will find the ideal companion for your everyday life between the cones.

Our backpacks feature special holders, for example, where you can securely attach your freestyle inline skates, and also offer plenty of storage space for your equipment and refreshments.

In our backpacks and bags, you can fit everything you need: your inline skates, your cones, your protective gear, suitable snacks, your camera equipment, music, and much more.

Protectors

Protective gear for inline freestyle slalom skating

In freestyle slalom skating, protective gear can detract from the aesthetic appeal for many, which is why numerous slalom skaters choose not to wear it.

However, the right pads not only protect you from serious injuries but also provide additional safety and boost your confidence when dancing through the cones.

By preventing and cushioning injuries, you can skate continuously, avoid taking involuntary breaks, and thus have the opportunity to steadily improve.

Thanks to the increased confidence that well-fitting protective gear can give you, you will also make overall faster progress, have fewer inhibitions when trying new tricks, and ultimately enjoy skating even more.

The protective equipment we recommend for inline freestyle slalom skating is as follows:

  • A helmet,
  • wrist guards,
  • elbow pads,
  • and knee pads.
