Grinds – Trick List
In aggressive inline skating, grinds are one of the central disciplines and an expression of pure creativity. Grinding means sliding on your skates along ledges, rails, curbs, or copings. These are usually made of metal, concrete, or plastic. To do this, you specifically use certain parts of the skate: the H-block, soulplate, frame, or even the boot edge.
For many, grinding is the heart of aggressive skating. It is technically demanding, visually impressive, and extremely versatile.
The first time you grind along a rail, you feel it immediately – this combination of flow, control, and adrenaline is addictive. With patience, practice, and the right equipment, it is only a matter of time before your first successful grinds are locked in.
So: Put on your aggressive skates and pads, and head to the next curb – your grind journey starts now!

Lips – Trick List
In aggressive inline skating, the "lip" refers to the top edge of an obstacle—typically a quarterpipe, mini-ramp, or bowl. The lip is the area where you land or brace yourself for certain tricks.
Although grinds are also performed on the lip, we do not count them among the classic lip tricks.
For us, classic lip tricks are all tricks performed on the edge or coping where you stay in a specific spot—meaning you do not slide or grind.
With lip tricks such as stalls, handplants, or a combination of the two (so-called "lip dancers" or "switch-ups"), you can develop your own unique style in aggressive inline skating.

Manuals & Slides – Cheat Sheet
Manuals, also known as wheelies, are tricks in which you balance on only one or two wheels (front or back) while moving. Body control and balance are crucial.
Slides, on the other hand, are sliding tricks in which you slide over an edge or surface with certain skate elements – such as the wheels, the soulplate, the frame, or even the boots. Depending on the type of slide and the surface, the technique and difficulty level vary.
Whether you choose precise manuals, smooth slides, or creative combos – they require and improve your body control and trick understanding. The next session is waiting!
